In 1996, I left Europay after being allowed to propose the concept of the mobile wallet.
Unfortunately, the Wayback Machine archives data, and fifteen years is a long time. In 2010, the presentation was still available online.
From then, we jump forward ten years to 2016 (Please confirm this date for accuracy. If you intended to jump backward to 2006, please clarify, and we can adjust the wording.). My Wallet 2.pdf document was created around this time.
The Vision: A 5-Card Brick Mobile Wallet
The dream was to build a business concept that would reduce my pockets to a 5-card brick: a Secure Element and touch screen on the front, an ePaper screen on the back, a high-definition 3D camera, a fingerprint scanner, and more. This device would be equipped with QR, BLE, NFC, WiFi, and 3G/4G (and now 5G) to communicate credentials, digital signatures, and other information with merchants, issuers, governments, social media platforms, or whomever we have a digital relationship with.

Next Steps
I apologize; what I hoped to show you was the origin and Prior Art that supports the open concept of a mobile wallet capable of carrying all our cards, receipts, coupons, etc. When I first found the archive, all the pictures were gone or renamed. Today, everything has disappeared, likely residing on some storage media in a forgotten digital ‘cave’ somewhere.
