Currently, I am working on a script for a mini-series Hesus the Movie – a project that explores themes of peace, harmony, and moral awakening that have become central to my recent reflections.
My recent blog posts reflect a deepening exploration of humanity’s moral evolution, from “Homo Moralis — The Moral Human Awakens” to visions of moving “From Where We Are Toward Utopia.” These writings represent not just intellectual exercises, but a synthesis of decades spent in technology, governance, and human systems.
A Lifetime of Innovation
Payments & Financial Technology
How does somebody with a lifetime of experience in payments begin the conversation? We could start with a bank account – a place where you deposit money and an institution records that value. But the story goes much deeper.
From pebbles to cryptocurrency, from checks to contactless cards, I’ve witnessed and helped shape the evolution of how we exchange value. Today, as we embrace virtual worlds and digital assets, the tried and true will remain while legacy solutions continue to evolve.
Cybersecurity & Digital Identity
Long before AI was part of our vocabulary, I was exploring personal assistants that learned as you did. My work spans electronic voting, cybersecurity, digital identity, and the intersection of technology with democracy.
From 2020-2024, I focused on Voatz, a Boston-based company enabling secure smartphone voting, working with the Government Blockchain Alliance to integrate immutable blockchains into election systems.
Strategic Leadership
As a critical thinker, I offer thought leadership to start-ups, first-stage companies, boards, and executives. My roles have included CIO, board secretary, advisor, solution architect, and strategist across telecommunications, healthcare, and emerging technologies.
My talents include mentoring, facilitation, public speaking, and the ability to see the big picture while delving into details. Bottom line: my goal is to make sure the team considers everything.
